Nominations Oscars and Cesars

month of January ended with the traditional batch of awards. Both ceremonies are expected to reveal more their appointments.

Regarding Caesars the "industry professionals" have unsurprisingly welcomed men with gods Xavier Beauvois with 11 citations including best film, director, actor, supporting cast and script. Gainsbourg (heroic life) , biopic of the surprising and Joann Sfarr The Ghost Writer get 8 citations each. It would also not unhappy that Roman Polanski won the Caesar's director for his brilliant staging. Among the films promoted by My cinematography, there are people's names (4 citations) and Mammuth (3, a Cesar for Depardieu?). In contrast, the absence of regular enforcement A Marc Dugain (where Dussollier?) Copacabana Marc Fitoussi and Guests of my father Anne Le Ny sobering. But it would be dishonest regretting the lack of nominations for the biggest French hit of the year, The Little handkerchiefs who has to pay something (arrogance?).

Hopefully the presence of these good movies will not be marred by a flawed presentation and interventions as pitiful as it has been in previous years. But nothing prevents you from doing anything on February 25 and avoid self-indulgent self-celebration.

The Oscars themselves, will compete to see chunks. The most nominated film, the excellent Speech of a king Tom Hopper, harvest twelve distinctions and the Oscar for best actor should not escape this time with Colin Firth. The Social Network that should (finally) see the consecration of David Fincher and that Inception (but nothing for DiCaprio) harvest 8 nominations, outpaced by the much anticipated True Grit Coen brothers (news here). Natalie Portman Black Swan (see trailer below) is the favorite for best actress and Toy Story 3 given big winner for the animated film. Verdict on the night of February 27 to 28.
